The Eplan Training Academy offers a range of basic to advanced training courses on all of our Platform 2025 solutions, including Electric P8, Pro Panel, Harness ProD, Fluid and more. All of these courses take place virtually so you can attend the sessions at home or in the office.
In our two-day update training, you will get to know the important new features and walk away feeling confident navigating the updated features. We will also provide you with more useful tips and tricks for your daily engineering work.

Electric P8 Training Roadmap
Learning how to navigate new software can seem daunting at first glance. To mitigate this, we created the multifaceted Eplan Electric P8 training roadmap programme to demonstrate the full capabilities of the software. From the recommended basic training to advanced training to best practice and method training, all users of Electric P8 will find something useful to complement their daily workflow.
The recommended roadmap begins with an 8-day foundational course that covers basic design methods, schematic documentation, and efficient automation techniques. This course must be completed before undertaking the advanced training courses.
Subsequent specialised modules focus on advanced functions such as macro and device technology and learning to create standardised libraries that dramatically reduce repetitive work.
Additional training modules cover software installation, system decomposition, and compliance with international engineering standards like IEC 81346. These advanced courses are two days long each and training dates are regularly added with real-time updates showing any available spaces.
By progressively building skills across these courses, software engineers can access Electric P8’s full potential. eLearning with the Eplan Cloud
Did you know that we also offer free courses to help you make the most of your Eplan software? With Eplan eLearning, our self-paced bite-sized courses are the perfect way to make small steps towards your goals in a manageable yet meaningful way.
The eLearning courses all follow a similar structure; an introduction at the beginning firstly explains the new functions in the respective software. Then, the course develops into more detailed content with engineering on the Eplan Platform. A brief quiz at the end of every course reaffirms your new knowledge and allows you to test yourself. As far as time is concerned, you should spend approximately 45 minutes per module to allow yourself to fully engage with the content.
There is bound to be a course that catches your curiosity; there are around 1,500 eLearning courses available in up to 16 languages. However, all course content is localised. Filter by your interests such as specific Update Training or by course progress. Our brief interactive learning modules, customised to international standards, guarantee self-paced learning success for Eplan users around the globe.
Access is free for subscription clients as well as for teachers and students in the Eplan Education area. Simply log onto the Eplan Cloud to gain access to our course catalogue.
Eplan Network UK
In the spirit of new beginnings, 2025 welcomes the debut of Eplan Network UK. This unique free event sets a new standard for professional networking and knowledge sharing.
This event for Eplan users will explore how to get the most out of the software; looking into the latest productivity tools, Eplan cloud tools and tips, 3D cabling and much more. Lunch is provided and attendees will benefit from the chance to network with like-minded industry professionals throughout the day.
We'll round off the event with a tour of our brand new Application Centre facility, and you'll have the brilliant opportunity to address any queries during a mini Power User Session with one of our Eplan experts.
This in-person event at the Eplan Rotherham site is a great opportunity to connect with fellow Eplan engineers, ask questions, and optimise the use of your Eplan software.
